Our tagline says it all: our mission is to both celebrate and promote the diversity of female gamers, nerds, and geeks worldwide. Pretty Gamer is for everyone, with a focus on those voices in our community that frequently go unheard. We strive to be a place where every woman of the gamer persuasion, from paper & dice to MMOs can share how the games they love help shape who they are. A place where female nerds and geeks can share their passions with the world.
We want Pretty Gamer to be a different kind of gaming/nerd/geek site. One where a variety of viewpoints and opinions are represented and where *all* female gamers can have a voice.
As a submission and community driven site, we welcome contributors of any gender. We want this to be a site dedicated to women, about and for women, and want to bring people together rather than divide through our differences. There is room in this industry for all of us, and we can all learn from and support each other.
We hope you enjoy this site and its content. We hope that no matter who you are you’ll find something to laugh at, learn from, or geek out about. Thank you for reading Pretty Gamer!
Live Long and Prosper,
Isha Zubeidi (eye-shuh)
